Each summer, we look for crows, ravens, or magpies who have died within the last 24 hours of no apparent trauma. If you find such a bird, please contact the Health District immediately at (509) 249-6550. If you find a bird on the weekend and have the ability to put it in a freezer, please freeze the bird and contact us on Monday.

If your bird is not testable, we still want to hear from you! If you find a bird that is too old or not the right species, please call (509) 249-6550 so that we can collect information about the bird.
