The
Yakima Health District's Child Immunization Program
works with providers to teach proper vaccine storage
and administrations, along with providing consultation
to providers' offices throughout the county. The
Yakima Health District does not provide immunization
directly to patients, but does distribute some
vaccines to providers in our community.
If
your child was vaccinated at the Health District
before our clinic closed and you are seeking their
immunization records, please download the Request
for Medical Records Search form and mail it
in with the appropriate fee or bring it to the Health District and we will search for your records. (This may take up to 2 weeks to complete.)
The
three main education area that the immunization
program focuses on are vaccine storage, adminstration,
and keeping children's vaccinations up-to-date.
